Hooked on Football Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) @ Mt Colah FC is based on the FFA National Curriculum.

The National Curriculum is made up of 4 building Blocks for player development.

The Skill Acquisition Phase is the 2nd building block for children aged 9-13 years old.

​

The Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) focuses on the 4 core skills in attack and defence (first touch, striking the ball, running with the ball and 1v1).

​

The focus is on developing the player in all 4 core skills in both attack and defence while facilitating a learning, competitive, fun and safe environment.

​

This program also develops children in learning how to be part of a team with cores values of honesty. integrity and respect at the heart of all interaction at training and match day.
