ABOUT ROBERT

 

I have been involved in football as a professional player and coach for over 30 years.

 

In that time I have played over 400 NSL/A League games and made 25 appearances for the Socceroos.

 

As a coach I have held positions as the Assistant Head Coach of the Socceroos from 2010-2014 and the Assistant Head Coach of the Matildas from 2005-2010 and the Head Coach of Canberra United in the W League in 2009.

 

I currently hold an Asian Football Confederation and Football Federation Australia Professional Coaching Diploma which is the highest level available worldwide.

 

I am also a FIFA and FFA qualified advanced coach education instructor.

 

I am bringing my experience to the Hooked on Football Academy to help young players enjoy football and develop and learn to understand the qualities that are needed to improve and become a successful football player at any level.
